Asher Katz | Webinar

Former IDF soldier served in unit that searched for terrorist tunnels

Asher Katz, 22-years-old, is a graduate of the pre-army leadership academy of Ein Pratt and also studied at the Yeshiva of Otniel. In the course of his work, he was exposed to border communities that were in distress due to the security situation. In response, he started establishing "soldiers communities", groups of soldiers in active duty who took up residence in these challenged communities and spend their weekends fixing them up and strengthening their numbers and spirit. Their guiding belief is that if today's youth are presented with Zionist challenges that are tailored to their generation, they will rise to those challenges and build their adult lives around serving those missions.
